Tips And Techniques

We Are All Students In Life, So What’s Today’s Lesson?

I’ve spent the last 15 years training people about personal health by teaching them to cook. Over the years, I’ve ebbed and flowed as both humble teacher in good times and eager student during the bad seasons.

Though many of my tools, techniques and guidance originated in the kitchen, food is simply the vehicle that I use to engage self-awareness and get you moving forward.

As we examine what Well Beyond Food means, we’ll use food lessons to break down barriers, misconceptions and stigmas around what it means to be “healthy.” Starting with simple cooking techniques, for example, we’ll look as ways to overcome that nagging feeling of eating well, and get to the point of actually being able to enjoy it.

My lessons are your lessons, and vice-versa. If I can get preachy for one moment, good food is simply a conduit that feeds our potential, but it’s up to us how we move forward to reap the benefits physically, mentally and emotionally.
